About this camp

The 4-Day Kitesurf Discovery camp is your gateway to one of the world's most exhilarating water sports — in one of its best locations. Over 8 hours of IKO-certified instruction, you'll go from kite theory and land control to body dragging and your first water starts. Instruction starts on the sand before progressing to the water, with a maximum of 3 students per instructor to ensure every student gets personal attention. Your 3-night stay in a traditional Riad is included with daily breakfast, and a team dinner is hosted on the final evening.

FAQ

4-Day Kitesurf Camp Essaouira — Frequently Asked Questions

What is included, what it costs and what level you need for this camp.

What is included in the 4-day kitesurf camp?

8 hours of IKO-certified kitesurf instruction over 4 days, a professional instructor team, 3 nights in a traditional Riad with daily breakfast, wetsuits, kites and boards, free session photos and a team dinner on the final day.

How much does the 4-day kitesurf camp cost?

From €270 per person in the group formula. Semi-private (2 students) is €440 and private one-to-one coaching €500.

Will I be riding the board after 4 days?

8 hours is typically enough to control the kite, do confident water starts and get your first rides. Riding upwind independently usually comes with a few more hours, which is why some guests extend to the 6-day camp.

Do I need to be fit or a strong swimmer?

Average fitness is enough — the harness takes the pull, not your arms. You should be comfortable in the water and able to swim, since sessions take place in waist-to-chest-deep water.

What safety equipment is provided?

Helmet, impact vest and wetsuit are included, and instructors use walkie-talkie communication so they can guide you in real time while you are on the water.

What is not included in the camp price?

Lunches and dinners (apart from the final team dinner), personal expenses and room service. Breakfast is included daily.
